Check out this clip from the morning news. Dr. Stewart, the plastic surgeon that I work for, is performing surgery on a man that has gauges in his ears. The story behind the surgery is wonderful and may even make you cry.

two party girls with lamp shade hats!

My Wonderful Dad

Debbie, Greg, Jess and Adam sure had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Grandpa took Greg and Adam golfing and Grandma took Debbie and Jess to DSW where Jess found the cutest silver sandals for only $15. Well, we would have been fools not to buy them, and we are not  fools, so we did! We shopped, sunned ourselves,  ate grapefruit off the trees, talked,  laughed,  told stories,  had so much fun  celebrating Grandma's birthday,  ate lots of ice cream and the time went by way too fast! We  look forward to seeing Grandma and Grandpa when they come to our neck of the woods for Mary's blessing on April 19th.

COME SWING WITH ME

My southern roots come out during the summer time. When the sun is shining and the birds are chirping  I put my  teak  swing under the eaves of my big old porch. I would love for you to come over for a visit. We could lounge on the porch drinking lemonade, a Coke or what have you and solve the worlds problems or gossip about hollywood stars, whatever  is your thing. Or we could just swing back and forth as we listen to the neighbor mow the grass or the kids play in the sprinklers. If you relaxed so much that you fell asleep and began to snore, I wouldn't even giggle or make fun of you. (Well, maybe just a little bit!). But, isn't that what you do on a relaxing, lazy summer day on a wonderful  summer porch swing?) Remember, ya'll come back now and sit a spell on my front porch and we'll have us a nice little chat...

MARY MAE HAS MADE OUR DAY!!!

On February 8th at 7:15 a.m Jon and Lisa had our very first  grand baby  Mary Mae Crosby, weighing in  at 7 pounds 12 ounces and 21 inches long.  Greg and I have been "baby hungry" for so long and can't go anywhere without wanting to hold and coo at complete strangers. We don't want to have another baby mind you, we just want grandkids. So when Jon and Lisa told us we would soon be grand parents we were thrilled! Now we have a little bundle of pink joy that we can call our own, and in our humble opinion, and to quote Mary Poppins, she  is "practically perfect in every way!" Just call me Grandma Deb.
